About
Rebecca is an interdisciplinary creature working in pedagogical, participatory and context specific ways. She holds a Bachelor Arts Hons (first class) and a PhD from the University of Newcastle (2006) during which her field work (1997-2002) in Indonesia resembled the sequel to “The Year of Living Dangerously.” Her creative work has been presented in Australia and internationally, and she has taught at several universities in performance, community cultural development, theatre, and socially engaged practice. Rebecca also works as freelance editor and is regularly commissioned to create evaluation and assessment reports for a range of arts and non-arts organisations. Rebecca is currently undertaking her second PhD at the School of Cybernetics (ANU) examining transdisciplinary praxis and feminist methodologies in a more-than-human world.
